Favorite Zeno features are the hot topic of episode 3 of the Zeno Travel Tech Talks Podcast. Especially the ones that help you, as a TMC partner, give your customers more self-sufficiency. This ability to start online and stay online means your travelers can get on with their day, and frees you up to work on more complex bookings.

Here’s a recap of the four features Serko CMO Nick Whitehead and Senior Technology Solutions Consultant Jess Ogley discuss to help make travel more friction-free.

Mine-spec vehicles target an important need

To meet requests from Australian mining and resource industry customers, Zeno features a unique capability that lets workers easily book mine-spec vehicles. Workers select ‘Mine-spec’ from Zeno’s drop down menu and know they’re getting a vehicle with the mining safety and performance they need for their unique jobs. And what they see on screen is what they get at the depot. No need to make offline requests through you – just a smooth online transaction.

Unused ticket management means no credit is left behind

Zeno makes it very easy to see and use flight credits. Firstly, there’s the widget on the Zeno dashboard that flags unused credits as high, medium or low based on the expiry date. The widget shows the five most urgent credits, and users can click into the app to see all available credits.

Next, during the booking flow, Zeno will automatically apply the most logical ticket credit to the booking based on the expiry date, the carrier and fare selected. If different GDS carriers are selected for outbound and return flights, Zeno will apply different credits (if available) to each booking.

This capability gives you and your customers the confidence that available credits are being used, which helps drive down booking costs.

Book up to nine travelers together with multi passenger bookings

Another great time saver, Zeno lets travelers or travel arrangers book on behalf of up to nine travelers – including external guests – all in one place.

This single booking includes individual reservations for each traveler, with a single PNR/GDS booking reference. And it’s not just for flights. You can allocate rooms and rental cars for the group as well.

Online changes mean greater booking flexibility

Your customers can make simple changes to Sabre GDS flight, hotel, and car bookings in Zeno. They’ll receive instant guaranteed pricing for online flight changes – including international changes – reducing the need to call you so often. And travelers can amend their accommodation and have the flexibility to change their room or car type.

These automation features are all about friction-free travel which includes easier overall booking management for your customers, less manual intervention for you, and a better experience for individual travelers.
