How Trip Budget works
Trip Budget enables organizations to configure maximum spend amounts on each component of a business trip.
Trip budget amounts can be configured by:
- Policy type (i.e. spend limits can be configured for each booking sector; air, hotel, rental car, etc.)
- Policy category (domestic, trans-border or international travel)
- Traveler profile (e.g. employee type)
Where the total cost of air, hotel or ground transport exceeds the trip budget amount, this will be highlighted to the booker who will need to provide an 'out of policy' reason before the booking can be confirmed.
