The Marvell Prestera-EX family of packet processors deliver multi-layer enterprise switching capabilities with exceptional performance and industry-leading features. The Prestera-EX family provides a complete line of Fast Ethernet (FE), Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) and 10 GbE switching solutions with 100% software compatibility across the entire product line. The Prestera-EX packet processors support full line rate IPv6/IPv4 Unicast and Multicast routing, sophisticated IP-in-IP Tunneling and Layer 2 bridgingas well as advanced Traffic Classification, Filtering and Prioritization. The devices have an integrated the Media Access Controller (MAC), routing tables and egress queues as well as a 16 Gigabit per second (Gbps) uplink bus for uncompromising scalability for high-port density chassis, stackable and multi-Gigabit standalone systems.
