RD-Galrack
The RD-GalRack is a 3-blade modular rack system in a 1.5 U form factor. It supports any combination of layer 2 and layer 3 blades based on the GalNet-2+ and GalNet-3 switch controller devices. The management system (CPU module) resides off the backplane and the following blade configurations are available:
- 24 Fast Ethernet ports and 1 Gigabit Ethernet port using GalNet-2+ switch controllers
- 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports using GalNet-2+ switch controllers
- 24 Fast Ethernet ports and 1 Gigabit Ethernet port using GalNet-3 switch controllers
- 4 Gigabit Ethernet port GalNet-3 switch controllers
